Trustees approve 2026-27 Academic Calendar
During the Jan. 8 board meeting, trustees approved the academic calendar for the 2026-2027 school year. More than 2,700 CFBISD families and team members had an opportunity to vote on the calendar options, with 65.7% preference for the selected calendar. Thank you to all who took the time to review the options and provide feedback.

Approved calendar: (English | Spanish)
- First Day of School: Aug. 11
- Mid October Break: Oct. 12-16
- Winter Break: Dec. 21-Jan. 1
- Staff returns Jan. 4 and Students return Jan. 5
- Spring Break: March 15-19
- Last Day of School: May 21
