Courtney Hubbard

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Courtney began her dance training with the School of Oregon Ballet Theatre’s professional training program. She earned a BFA in Ballet from Texas Christian University and later completed her Master’s degree in Dance and Teaching from Texas Woman’s University. She danced professionally with Charleston Ballet Theatre before transitioning into education, where she has spent the past 24 years teaching in both public and private settings.

Courtney has taught at  institutions such as Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Paragon Dance Center and Blair Imagine Fine Arts Academy. She is now entering her sixth year at Blair Elementary, where she teaches dance and directs the Continuous Motion Dance Company with passion, creativity, and dedication to her students' growth.

Outside of the studio, Courtney enjoys spending time with her two teenage daughters. Together, they love traveling, exploring new cities, skiing, and hiking. Courtney brings her love of adventure and movement into the classroom, inspiring the next generation of dancers to move with purpose and joy.
