Meet the Art Teacher

Cristine Wheatley 

I graduated from UNT with a BFA in Photography and later returned to earn my teaching certificate in All-Level Art Education. For the past 21 years, I’ve had the joy of teaching art at McCoy Elementary in C-FB, and I’m thrilled to begin my 22^nd year with the Blair Eagles! Outside the classroom I’m kept on my toes by my 13-year-old chiweenie, Fable, who runs the house. I love spending time with my two nieces and nephew that live in nearby cities, and I’m always eager to share my passion for art and creativity with others.
